Race date: 9th October
This was the seventh running of the popular 10K two lap race based in Endcliffe park originally ran on the 10/10/2010. A lovely day for running, cool but with plenty of sun, and I believe “the hill” was not too muddy this year.
The race was won by Chris Blackburn of Blackburn Harriers in 34.06. First lady (and first strider) home was our own Caroline Brock in 42.14, over a minute faster than any other lady!
Special mention also to remarkable strider, Helen Eberlin who was celebrating reaching 70 by running the first of seven 10Ks in seven days!
