SYCAA XC Round 3 – Cannon Hall

Race date: Sunday 20th November 2016

Round 3 of the Cross Country league moved to Cannon Hall, near Barnsley. People had described this to me as a potential mud fest and I believe that the course was quite heavy. Sadly I was not there to see for myself. However, well done to those who made it to Cannon Hall for this one.

Ladies were asked to run 6300m whilst the men had 10000m to contend with. For the women there were 136 runners with another great turnout of Striders. The women’s race was won by Julie Bristoe of ‘Guests’ in 23.53.
