Race Date: Sunday 13th March 2016

Spenborough Athletics Club staged the annual 20 miles road race on Sunday 13th March. Starting and finishing on the Princess Mary Stadium track the route goes through Scholes, Clifton, Hartshead and Roberttown.

This year 254 runners completed the race including 2 Striders, Dave Perkins and Trevor Burton – well done to you both. The race was won by John Hobbs of Valley Striders in 1.56.56. The first woman home was Hannah Oldroyd of Saltaire Striders in 2.12.30.
