Scott Snowdonia Trail Marathon (1685 metres of ascent)
“This route takes you from Wales’ adventure capital Llanberis on a route which circumnavigates and eventually climbs Wales’ highest peak, Snowdon. Before finishing the race where you started in Llanberis, you will explore stunning trails with spectacular panoramic views across the Snowdonia National Park, whilst visiting Rhydd ddu, Beddgelert, the beautiful Nant Gwynant, Pen y Pass and, of course, Snowdon itself.”
So not a pb course then. This year’s race was won by Sam Humphrey of Victoria Park Harriers Tower H in 3:57:56 and first lady home was Andrea Rowlands of Eryry Harriers in 4:21:41

“This route takes you from Wales’ adventure capital Llanberis up the famous Maesgwm, onto Wales’ highest peak, Snowdon, and through the stunning Padarn country park before returning to Llanberis to finish. This trail half marathon will reward you with spectacular views across Snowdonia.”
Sounds tough to say the least.
This race was won by Chris Shelton (unaffiliated) in 01:54:20 and first lady home was Zoe McLennen (also unaffiliated) in 02:21:14
