Race Date: Saturday 4th June 2016
An alternative to (or as well as Locke Park) Parkrun, the Silkstone Shuffle is a series of 4.5 mile trail runs held by Barnsley Harriers, on 4 Saturdays throughtout the year.
The second one was held last Saturday and attracted 135 runners including lone Strider David Hewitt, well done David.
The race was won by Andy Swift of Penistone Footpath Runners in 25.37. The first woman was Sarah Gough of Barnsley Harriers in 33.01.
