Race Date: Sunday 26th June 2016
Rain swept across the region in the days before the 3rd running on Sheffield Round Run. This left parts of the course a bit muddy and soggy, but that just added to the fun. Thankfully, weather on the day was just what the doctor ordered; dry during the race then sunny for the after race drinks and chat.
1300 numbers were allocated and considering there were almost 400 pairs running that was over 1500 people out on the course. Much credit to the organisers for pulling this off. The race is a credit to them and their organisation.
The results have been a bit of a nightmare to pick through as there are loads of missing ‘club name’ from the big list which is how we pull out all you lovely Striders.
Let us start with those that did well, finishing in the top 25 of their respective categories.
As you can see, some of them did really well in picking up some prizes. Fantastic!
