Race Date: Thursday 11th August 2016
Ricky’s Race is a friendly 7.4km fell race organised by Matlock Athletic Club, with a bit of everything thrown in and a great hill near the finish giving spectacular views over Matlock. The 2016 event was won by Luke Beresford of Ripley RC in a time of 29.48, and first lady over the line was Fiona Kesteven of Totley AC in a time of 35.05.
Seven Striders made the trip over to Matlock, and Andy Buck was first to finish in a time of 36.55. Special mention also to Jill Davies, who claimed the FV50 crown in a time of 46.40. Well done to all!
