The second edition of the Palma de Mallorca half marathon took place on Sunday 16th October 2016, attracting runners from around Europe to the Balearic Islands’ capital.

A total of 3283 runners completed the Marina-fronted course, including a lone Strider in Steve Haake. Steve’s chip time of 1:43:48 put him in 1900th position, the race was won by fellow Brit Robert Danson of Wesham Road Runners in a time of 1:11:05 and the first lady over the line was Sebastiana Llabres of Atletisme Inca-Gardenhotels in 1:22:09. Congratulations Steve on what must have been a memorable run and occasion.
