Race Date: Sunday 24th July 2016

Just shy of 1000 runners took to the beaches for the 13 mile 2016 Northumberland Coastal Run, organised by Alnwick Harriers.

First runner home was Carl Avery of Morpeth Harriers in 1:13:44 and the first lady Emma Holt, again of Morpeth in 1:28:17.

Sole Strider on parade was Jorge Bronze finishing a highly respectable 1:29:44
