Calder Valley Fell Runners say:

A great winter race in typical tough Pennine terrain. A bit of mud & a bit of climbing to warm you up!!!

A free can of Heart & Soul to all runners.

BS – 6 miles (9.7km )/1640ft (500m)

Race winner was Chris Holdsworth (Clayton Le Moors) in 45:54, and first lady was Anne Johnson (CVFR) in 1:00:15. 179 runners completed the course.

Alasdair Menmuir was the only hardy Strider in attendance (or Team Accelerate) – and finished a very creditable 30th place.
