Race Date: Monday 2nd May 2016

Pehaps the less said about this race the better but a big well done to both Striders taking part. Both were looking very strong up mile 16 but then things started to go wrong. Sadly, Dave Palmer had to pull up injured and Matt Rimmer’s marathon jinx struck again.

The race was won by Ben Fish of Blackburn in 2.31.10. The first woman home was Kate Wright of Stratford upon Avon in 3.03.35
