Race Date: Wednesday 6th July 2016

Starting from Maltby crags, the Abbey Dash is a beautiful, undulating trail run of approximately 4.5 miles through King’s Wood, around the historic ruins of Roche Abbey, following the river Rother, looping back through woods and climbing up to the Common.

120 people took part in the race, including our trio of Striders who then went on to make the most of the brown buffet. Good going guys!

The race was won by Ben Harries of Retford AC in a time of 27.16, and the first lady home was Susan Keens of Maltby RC in 31.42.
