Race Date: Sunday 20th March 2016
The March edition of the Longshaw Trust10 had 86 runners taking part, of which 10 were Striders. A high proportion of the turnout as ever! It’s a great, free 10k event with a testing and very picturesque 2 lap route – so do consider getting out of bed for the next one on 24th April unless you have a very good excuse not to! They will be in need of volunteers as well, if you don’t feel like running.
Luke Siggs (no club attachment) won the race in 43:56. The winning lady was Mary McCarthy of Hallamshire Harriers in 47:19.
Kevin Sibley finished in 2nd place. Well done Kev, and all the other Striders who took part as well.
