Race Date: Sunday 28th February 2016
1182 runners took to the streets of Kingston upon Thames for the half marathon, including 2 Striders, Jennifer Rich and Paul Stuart. Of the 1182 runners, 444 of them were women. The reason I’m highlighting this is because Jen finished as 2nd woman and secured a PB at the same time. Fantastic result Jen, well done – and well done to Paul too on his road to recovery.
The race was won by Paul Whittaker of Southend on Sea AC in 1.08.36. The first woman was Natalie Seymour (unattached) in 1.25.52.
