Race Date: Sunday 18th December 2016

The Santa’s Special is a 4.3mile, 2 lap route, like the Kimmy Kanter, starts and finishes next to the Millmoor Juniors training ground and is predominantly run on trails through the surrounding woodland. Be warned though, it’s not a flat course and as the race is run in early December, it’s normally abit nippy and the trails are rarely dry!

The race is normally held on the last Sunday morning before Christmas, with the prize giving afterwards in the Green Dragon pub.

This year 92 people completed the run including the Jones’ – well done to Ben for 4th place and to Stuart for 1st Vet 50. The race was won by Owen James of Kimberworth Striders in 26.05. The first woman was Anna Hardman also of Kimberworth in 32.53.
