Noted as one of the fastest courses in the country, the Greater Manchester Marathon 2016 took place on April 10th 2016 with over 15000 runner taking part.
Conditions on the day were perfect, nice and frosty in the morning but with no clouds or rain.
The race was won by Steven Bayton of Hallamshire Harriers in 2:22:34 and first female finisher was Kelly Crickmore of Stockport Harriers in 2:48:04.
