Race Date: Sunday 7th August 2016
The fourteenth year of the Dovedale Dipper 26 miles Challenge Walk / Run and the 15 miles Ramble – and this year a 15 mile run – was completed on Sunday 7th of August. The weather conditons were really good – perfect walking weather and everyone seemed to enjoy the day. Thanks to all who took part and we are please look forward to making a donation of all the proceeds to the Air Ambulance.
The 15 mile race was won by Pat Goodall in 2.35. Kudos indeed to our own Sian Evans who finished in 2nd place in a time of 2.47. Well done Sian. The first male home was Stephen Moss in 2.50. There were 36 entrants to the 15 mile run. As well as Sian, Blaine Quigley ran for the Striders. Well done to you both.

For the 26 mile version, there were 70 entrants, including lone Strider, Adrian Moss. Well done Adrian. The race was won by Stephen Shanks in 3.33.00. The first woman home was Jo Summers in 5.07.00.
