Cressbrook Crawl Fell Race…..
If anyone is stuck (!) for a race this time next year, I’d thoroughly recommend this one. I was the sole strider running it this morning (sniff) but was a gorgeous route around some bits of the peaks I’d not been to before. Not too busy, free ale at the end and a £3 delicious looking lunch for those who wanted it. Nothing to not love…..apart from the uphill finish. Urgh !

Well done to Dave Ansell & Naomi Rabin for running the Cressbrook Crawl, a 6.5 mile race with 1148 feet of climb in it. There were 143 runners in all. The race was won by Alasdair Campbell (unattached) in 44.07. The first woman home was Holly Martin of Pennine FR in 56.10.
