Race Date: Saturday 15th October 2016
Clumber Park is with little doubt one of the most picturesque settings for a 10km run. A truly spectacular National Trust Country Park with acre upon acre of woodland, you’ll not be short of some beautiful countryside to distract you from the running! It’s fair to say the course is by no means easy, with its numerous twists, turns and undulations within the parkland. With the new start / finish location the course has been changed slightly, but has kept the majority of the popular route used in previous years.
254 people took part in the race this year, including our very own Elaine Shortridge. Well done Elaine! The race was won by Iain Bailey in a time of 34.30, and the first lady home was Jessica Brooks in 44.59.
