One the most popular marathon’s on the calendar took a bunch of Striders over to Chester.
Hannah Milton ran a new whopping 30 minute PB at under 4 hours and Anthony O’Keefe with his guide runner Peter Macqueen couldn’t have cut it much shorter getting under 4 hours with minutes to spare.
An update from Peter
It was a massive 26 minute pb for Anthony. Off the back of a broken foot 12 weeks ago and 4 weeks of training, I’m staggered that we managed that.
Ben Fish of Blackburn Harriers won the race in 2:24:03 and Katie Jones of Fife Athletic Club was the first lady home in 2:53:34.
