Race Date: Sunday 11th June 2016
The Baslow Boot Bash took place for the first time in the summer of 2005. Following its success on that occasion, it has now become an annual event. The 14 and 26 mile routes wind their way through the beautiful scenery of the Peak District National Park. The Baslow Boot Bash raises funds for Baslow Choir, helping it to use professional singers and musicians to enhance its performances.
143 runners – and walkers – took part in the 26 mile event. The winner was Ian Rawson, in a time of 4:24. The winning lady was Sarah Broadhurst in 5:07.
3 Striders took part – well done to John, Adrian and Gavin!
