Race Date: Wednesday 18th May 2016
Sunny last year, tipping it down this, everyone and everything absolutely saturated. I’m sure the whole course was slower for that very reason. Well that’s my excuse and i’m sticking to it.
None of that stopped the race winner Daniel Kestel of Barnsley AC who finished in 32:54 and the first lady home Jenny Latham of Wakefield in 36:18.
55 Striders were on parade in a total field of 609 runners. Being as usually fast course and part of the Striders road race championship always make this race a popular one.
