Well done to the 151 runners who managed to venture away from the TV, selection boxes and wine in order to participate in this year’s Ward Green Six mile race. Particular mention should go to the 4 Striders who took part. Well done all.
The race was won by Mike Burrett of Leeds City in 29.59. The first woman home was Evie Brailsford of Sheffield & Dearne in 37.13, beating our very own Jennifer Rich into 2nd place by a mere 19 seconds.
