The Vale of York half marathon is pretty new, and pretty flat. This is it’s second outing, in which runners climbed a mere 216 feet. With the weather set fair it was a nice day to for a blast around the Selby area.

The race was won by Dominic Shaw of New Markse Harriers in a dizzying 01:07:44. First lady was Susan Partridge running for Leeds City AC in 01:16:00.

A brace of Striders made the trip.
