There were 841 finishers of this race which was won by Jonathan Davies of Reading AC in 29:18. The first woman back was Alyson Dixon of Sunderland Strollers in 32:29. Carol Beattie was the only Strider who made the trip to the wrong side of the Pennines, but it was well worth it as her 47:41 finish was enough to earn her the 2nd V60 female spot.
