Race date: Sunday 8th November 2015
This was round 4 of a series of trail races along footpaths, tracks and trails in the Peak District. Despite the torrential rain, the massive puddles, and the treacherously slippy descent near the end, it was a lovely little race along the beautiful Monsal trail – one I’ll definitely be doing again.
The race was won by Stephen Edwards in a time of 58.54. The first women home was Jacqui Hawkins in 1.07.20.
106 runners completed the 15k course. The single Strider in attendance was Al Cook, finishing 7th in the VM40 category (21st overall).
