Race Date: Sunday 26th July 2015

This event has a capacity of 1450 and was sold out! I can’t believe so many people would put themselves through this. I think I’d still be swimming by the time everyone else had finished the whole triathlon.

Anyway, Alastair Lawson was flying the Striders’ flag at this event and he finished the 2.4 mile swin, 112 mile bike ride and 26.2 mile run in an awesome time of 11.46.29 gaining himself 299th place. Very well done Alastair, a fantastic performance.

The individual triathlon was won by Craig Twigg of Speedhub in 8.50.56. First individual woman was Jenny Latham of Redvemon in 9.55.59
