Race Date: Sunday 1st March 2015
I believe in small mercies, at least it wasn’t raining, but the wind? oh, the wind. You were running sideways against it, then uphill and into the wind. Some poor soul got blown into a ditch at the side of the road.
Dawn Jackson was last seen scurrying across a farmers field looking for her race number that had blown off. Kudos to Sian Evans for wearing her rain jacket as cape for the first 5 miles of the race in a Brits inspired Madonna stylee. And she still beat most of the men out there.
The race was won by Nathaniel Williams (unattached) in 50:03 with Fiona Davies of Kingstone the first lady home in 57:31.
