Sunday saw the 6th running of the ASDA Foundation Hull 10k. 4 Striders took part (as far as I know) in drizzly conditions. The pan flat and PB friendly course was made tougher by sections of slippery cobbles and at least 30 corners to negotiate. Alec Gibson of East Hull Harriers was first home in 33:31, with Jo Maddick (Unattached) first lady in 36:28. Sign her up!

As far as I am aware they are big PB’s for Gemma and Kathryn, who dipped under the hour for the first time over that distance. And a special mention to Stuart who showed incredible guts/stupidity to get round with a calf muscle that could have quite literally exploded at any moment.
