Race Date: Sunday 19th July 2015

Sheffield Triathlon clubs Hathersage Hilly triathlon does what it says on the tin. Its a sprint race consisting of 422 metre swim, 21k bike ride and a 7k run.

We don’t usually post results from swimming races, but as we had a notable entrant we thought we had better.

The race was won by Team Bradycadia in a total time of 1:12:51 and the first woman was Eleanor Bishop in 1:22:38.

In a field of 295 finishers, Strider Simon Bennett finished 11th overall and was 1st V45 male in 1:18:06.

His swim was 9:07, the bike took 38:18 and the run just 27:44. A cracking effort, well done Simon.
