Race Date: Sunday 1st November 2015

The Derwentwater Ten road race is a spectacular 10 mile road race run clockwise round Derwentwater in the Lake District. Undulating rather than hilly, this course is one of the most scenic road races in the country. By the looks of the weather forecast it was pretty warm for a November road race!

The race was won by Russ Best of New Marske in 51:53. The first woman was Joasia Zakrzewski of Dumfries Running Club in 1:00:44.

Nicola Black was the sole strider in attendance finishing 6th female in a time of 1:06:11. Well done!
