Race Date: 13th July 2014

This years running of the ‘We Love Manchester’ 10k attracted 2328 runners. Mohammed Abu-Rezeq of Altrincham & District won the mens race in 30:39 with Jessica Coulson of Stockport Harriers the first lady home in 34:04.

Our own Carol Beattie flew the Striders flag and finished in 407th with a time of 47:40. Which was enough to help her to a highly creditable 2nd place in the F60 category.
