Race Date: Sunday 24th August 2014

Billed as a 10 mile cross country race within the scenic grounds of the Brackenhurst Estate, the Southwell Swine tempts entrants with the reward of ‘Hog Roast and a drink’.  Who couldn’t turn that down?

The race was won by Juliet Potter of Charnwood AC in 1:10:06 with the first man home trailing Juliet by almost a minute with Dale Staton of Gainsborough & Morton Striders coming home in 1:11:05.

95 entrants were indeed lured by the Hog Roast with our very own David Perkins finishing a very creditable 12th place.
