Roger Watson represented the Steel City Striders at the Le Two-r Halves Ten race, a race along some of the more challenging parts of the actual Tour de France course – Cragg Road. This stretch takes in the longest continuous gradient in England and has an equal 5 mile climb followed by a fast 5 mile descent.
The race was won by Shaun Livesey of Blackburn Harriers in 1:00:33. Sarah Louise Cumber of Halifax Harriers AC was 1st lady in 1:07:08. The history of the Two Halves Ten race and the full results are available on the Halifax Harriers website.
