Race Date: Friday 25th July 2014

The annual Grenochase took place on a really gorgeous evening with the village still basking in the glow of the tour de yorkshire passing through the village.

Father and Son Striders, Ben and Stuart Jones represented the club with Ben finishing 2nd (16:15) and Stuart 24th (21:00) in a field of 112 runners.

Ben inturn won the AAA club competition with Stuart 3rd in the same category.

The race was 3 miles with two up and down triangular laps past several pubs with locals pouring out onto the streets to offer especially vocal support. Connor Hancock backed up his Man of Steel win by finishing first in a time of 15.56.

A really great low key, local event with kids races before, and music put on after.
