Race Date: Sunday 14th December
Blustery, windy, blowing a gale, take your pick. From about halfway it was in your face and very exposed overlooking the countryside. There you go, getting our excuses in early on behalf of the majority of the 786 who finished the race.
It didn’t seem to stop Richard Weir of Derby AC as he won the mens race in 31:25, nor Emily Whitmore of Charnwood AC, the first lady home in 36:31.
16 Striders on show today, but it was light on PBs. Congratulations to all who braved the elements.
