Race Date: Sunday 17th August 2014

Classed as Warrington’s Premier 10k road race, the Birchwood 10k attracted our very own Carol Beattie alongside 898 other runners.

The race was won by Ben Fish of Blackburn Harriers in 31:27 with the first woman home being Kelly Crickmore of Stockport Harriers in 35:29.

Carol finished in 48:33 which was 368th and good enough to clinch 2nd place in the FV60 category.
